I am accomplishing my dreams which are also God’s plans that He is allowing me to fulfill. I am living at home now although this place isn’t my only home, for I am traveling the world to wherever the footprints of God lead me. But I am not traveling alone – my amazing, handsome, and supportive husband goes with me wherever we feel God is leading us. He is an awesome man of God, and we help each other in our walks as we travel this road together. But also I need to tell you about a new addition to my family - we are excited to announce that we are going to bring one of God’s children into this world...a beautiful baby. I say that our child will have its father’s handsome looks, but my husband says that to be a beautiful baby it has to look like me – he’s so sweet. As we have been praying for our baby’s life, we have fallen deep in love with it and can hardly wait to see what God has planned for our children.

As we travel from place to place, we still bring our worshipping hearts to any and everyone in the audience. That’s right, we are still bringing God to others through our gifts of music and singing. With God’s help and guidance, we have written many songs that have touched nations. Besides using my musical talents to worship God, I also speak at many churches and have been writing some books of what God has shown me so that they may help people grow in their own walk with God. But as I read the encouragement that I get from many of my brothers and sisters in Christ, it makes me realize how amazing it is what God can do with someone like me – an ordinary girl with just a heart for the will of God to be done.

Although my schedule is packed with God-filled concerts and conferences, I somehow still have time for my precious family and friends. And as I spend time with them, they tell me that they are praying for me, and honestly I don’t think that I could have such an impact on the world if it weren’t for those prayers. Even through my chaotic life something else that is essential in my life is my quiet time with God, and somehow I still have time to have numerous dates with God. I also spent a lot of my time journaling; and as I sit in stillness, God deposits amazing ideas and concepts in my heart that could only be from Him. Although I enjoy journaling and writing, I still enjoy scrapbooking, painting, and drawing. Some of my artwork is up in the house along with many pictures of our friends and family.

Can you believe that I am accomplishing my dreams that I have dreamt about all my life - it is sometimes kind of hard for me to believe. Yet when I think about where I am and what I am doing, I can’t help but thank God that I get to be a part of His plan and that He gets to use me. Keep praying that I would stay strong enough to stand in God and that He would guide my every step as I follow hard after Him.

Walking In Faith,
McKenzie
